OCTOBER 2025 ASTROLOGY: LIBRA SEASON + RELATIONAL RECALBIRATION

Post-eclipse nervous system work, relational mirroring, and finding your center after transformative change.

So many of us have experienced deep excavation over the past month—from the New Moon in Virgo on August 22nd-23rd through eclipse season with the Full Moon lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 7th, culminating in the New Moon solar eclipse on September 21st. It's officially been a week since the Solar Eclipse in Virgo, marking one of the most potent and transformative months of this year.

As we move into October this week, we're starting to shift away from the eclipse window. While the window remains open until the New Moon in Libra on October 21st, we're slowly beginning to taper down, integrate, and digest eclipse season more deeply.

After last week's equinox and the start of Libra season, we moved straight into intense Mars-Pluto square energy. Now, entering this week, we receive a respite—a reprieve offering opportunity to land, take inventory, and process what surfaced and what you've been moving through.

THE NERVOUS SYSTEM AND MANIFESTATION

Virgo season with eclipse energy stripped away what's unsustainable and what's been preventing us from moving beyond our capacity thresholds. We've been stretched to hold more nuance, expansion, and chaos, bringing us down to the studs—back to practices, rituals, and ways we can control our response to life and the world.

We've returned to basics, to building blocks of our systems: nervous system, immune system, tending the vessel that holds everything. If you want to manifest, go straight to your nervous system work. You can call things in and receive glimpses or pieces, but real manifestation starts within the nervous system—where we expand our capacity to dream beyond thresholds, to hold more, feel more, and dream bigger.

The South Node in Virgo teaches that we need practices to tend the physical vessel so we can loosen our grip and trust vast, unknown Piscean possibilities. An infinite field of potential awaits us, but it cannot meet us if we're operating from fear frequency or lack space to receive it.

OCTOBER’S ENERGY

October offers opportunity to integrate new practices, rebalance, harmonize, and find equilibrium again. It's a bridge month—a chance to receive what you need, recalibrate, and discover your center and balance point.

The intensity of the Virgo-Pisces eclipse axis continues vibrating through our systems, reverberating until at least the New Moon in Libra on October 21st. With Libra's help, we begin metabolizing what was revealed. This is a month of clarity, integration, and recalibration.

This week brings a smooth, slow start with minimal significant astrological activity. You might notice spaciousness or experience dissonance and confusion about what to focus on. Toward week's end, we build toward the Full Moon in Aries on October 7th, bringing incredible activation as Mercury enters Scorpio.

KEY OCTOBER DATES

  • October 6: Mercury enters Scorpio

  • October 7: Full Moon in Aries

  • October 13: Venus enters Libra

  • October 14: Pluto stations direct

  • October 20: Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio

  • October 21: New Moon in Libra

  • October 23: Jupiter square Chiron (1st of 3)

FULL MOON IN ARIES

This fiery emotional activation carries initiatory energy—a new beginning, fresh start, and opportunity to clear what surfaced through eclipse season. Perhaps pent-up anger, frustration, or old material related to will, initiation, creativity, and identity seeks purging.

This Full Moon interacts with Chiron, illuminating what we'll work with later this month when Jupiter begins squaring Chiron—the first of three times over the next year.

On October 6th, Mercury enters Scorpio, bringing intensity and depth. The Full Moon in Aries follows on October 7th. Around October 13th, energy begins softening with recalibration as Venus enters Libra and Pluto stations direct on October 14th.

Mid-month likely brings revelations. Pluto has been navigating its underworld journey since May, excavating and uncovering subconscious material. When it stations direct, this material surfaces for awareness, witnessing, and integration.

Especially following last week's Mars-Pluto square, tension hangs in the air without clear pathways out. You might feel stuck with something you've been sitting with since last November or May—something requiring decision or clarity. Mid-month clarity may arrive when Pluto stations direct.

On October 20th, Mercury meets Mars in Scorpio—another underworld journey revealing deeper truths. This isn't necessarily a calm month, but there's deep underlying stabilization we can access.

Things will be revealed, but we've established a new baseline. We've traveled deeper through eclipse season, building more capacity to be with revelations and insights. We've integrated deeper parts of ourselves along the spiral through descent work, making it easier to meet edges, revelations, and harsh truths because we've built stabilization, capacity, and ability to hold complexity.

NEW MOON IN LIBRA

The New Moon in Libra brings relational resets, new agreements, and opportunities to reset relational dynamics. If you've been bumping up against someone, this offers chance to clear the field and create new relating patterns.

Libra teaches right relationship with others, starting from within—through strong self-connection and self-awareness of your needs and patterns. Relational themes surface throughout October, building to the New Moon in Libra where we can begin again, rewrite patterns, and turn the page.

Peace, harmony, and balance—what Libra truly desires—don't simply arrive. We must cultivate, practice, and invite them while confronting ways we push them away. Libra season returns us to the mirror where we see ourselves through others: balance, beauty, reciprocity, but also projection, avoidance, collapse, and self-abandonment.

This season centers on sacred recalibration—using data gained through eclipse season to form new patterns, habits, and ways of being. What relationships, commitments, and agreements actually feed life back into your body?

Libra reminds us we're not meant to do this alone while insisting we cannot lose ourselves in togetherness. The evolutionary journey involves stepping into right relationship as equals—not collapsing into another, avoiding, or dominating, but learning to hold tension in the middle space, the relational space.

JUPITER SQUARE CHIRON: CORE WOUND ACTIVATION

Moving into late October, Jupiter squares Chiron on October 23rd—the first of three transits (repeating in December and next July). This pushes buttons related to core wounds, wanting to break patterns held by wounds specifically around Aries themes: identity, belonging, willpower meeting Jupiter in Cancer themes of safety, care, and belonging.

Are you leaning too heavily into safety? Are you afraid to grow roots, commit, deepen, or soften? This surfaces late month alongside the Sun squaring Pluto and opposing Chiron while squaring Jupiter—creating an intense T-square with Sun, Jupiter, Chiron, and Pluto, pushing us to break out of patterns of staying small, playing safe, or self-sabotaging healthy, committed relationships.

LIBRA + ARIES

Before lunar nodes moved into Virgo and Pisces, they occupied Libra and Aries (South Node in Libra, North Node in Aries) from 2023 to early 2025, teaching where we self-abandon, avoid, or fear taking life's reins and meeting discomfort, confrontation, and edges.

We've experienced charged Libra seasons with eclipses these past years. This season brings different energy—we're in the eclipse portal but tapering down. It's confronting as we must see ourselves clearly in others. Significant relational mirroring occurs this month with opportunities for clear self-reflection through others.

You might reckon with current relationships—to self and others—questioning which relationships align with this new version of you. This Libra season represents an upgrade where we decide how we want our lives to feel and look, choosing peace not through dissociation, conflict avoidance, or playing safe, but through conversations that set us free.

Choose clarity over niceness. Choose meeting others from wholeness rather than half-selves seeking completion. We must meet edges, discomfort, and places where we hold fear and avoidance to feel more whole and resourced.

Our inner regulation and center point emerge through rituals, practices, and tools discovered during this eclipse portal. Creating harmony in environment, rituals, words, and home isn't superficial—it's nervous system regulation enabling us to show up for hard conversations with grace.

As a Libra, I carried shame around needing beauty—clean spaces, beautiful environments, nature, aesthetically pleasing surroundings. Not fancy or expensive or trendy, but beautiful. Libra finds inner harmony through outer harmony. This doesn't mean relying on others for harmony but recognizing that harmonious, balanced, beautiful spaces create internal harmony. Nature naturally provides this balance.

With internal harmony and regulation, we can show up for challenges, hard conversations, and confrontations, meeting edges with capacity because we've created space, prioritized it, and made it part of our practice to process what keeps us from peace.

Peace might feel impossible given world events, but it can exist as a pocket, reprieve, or landing place—even for ten minutes. The more you find these spaces, the more they expand and become accessible even amid chaos, difficulty, pain, and fear.

Remember: we get to choose, find, and cultivate this space that's ours by right. Like building muscle through exercise, the more you create space to access inner peace points, the easier they become to find. You build resilience and capacity.

MEETING OCTOBER’S CHALLENGES

This month challenges us, but we have new practices, insights, and foundational base to hold what emerges. Many lessons arrive through relationships and interactions with others—the mirrors in our lives.

We face a significant 2026, especially early year (particularly February) with substantial change ahead. We're auditing every life aspect, including relationships. Which feel aligned? Which feel reciprocal and balanced? Where can you be truly authentic with people in your life?

Clear mirrors are gifts. Witnessing ourselves in others, especially clear mirrors, can be profoundly confronting. Many of you likely serve as clear mirrors—most of my clients do. It can be painful being that clear reflection for people who haven't integrated shadow or seen themselves clearly reflected, experiencing rejection not of you but of their reflection within you.

If you're a clear mirror, you probably receive clear reflections from others too, which can also be confronting. But the more we meet that reflection with love, ownership, and openness, the faster we move through this work with less resistance and pain.

Let's meet this month's confrontations, awakenings, and revelations. Let's enjoy Libra season before moving into Scorpio season with its characteristic intensity. This is time to reap the harvest of what you've moved through this year—to gather wisdom, integrate lessons, and prepare for the transformative journey ahead.

Trust your mirrors, honor your need for beauty and balance, and allow this month to show you where you're ready to step into right relationship with yourself and others.
