FULL MOON IN TAURUS + WEEKLY ASTROLOGY FORECAST: NOVEMBER 2 – NOVEMBER 8

MARS ENTERS SAGITTARIUS, FULL MOON IN TAURUS, VENUS ENTERS SCORPIO, URANUS RETURNS TO TAURUS, MERCURY RETROGRADE SHADOW

November opens with movement. The sky pivots from deep water to catalytic fire and air, then drops us into the fertile dark again. Mars crosses into Sagittarius and immediately opposes Uranus. The Full Moon in Taurus rises in clear relief and asks for real ground. Venus descends into Scorpio. Uranus retraces its steps back into Taurus and reactivates a body-based review that began in 2018.

We are in Mercury retrograde shadow ahead of the station on November 9, which will run through November 29, moving from Sagittarius back into Scorpio. This is a week to meet change with presence and to let stability come from what is tactile and true.

THEMATIC OVERVIEW

November is a reckoning with change. The nervous system knows before the mind admits it. Thresholds can read as threat even when they are invitations. The assignment is to befriend uncertainty and to build capacity for it.

Scorpio season continues the work of deconstruction and honest seeing. Taurus teaches the devotional art of embodiment as the counterweight to volatility. Sagittarius opens the window to meaning, wider context, and right action. Together they ask for courage without reactivity, sensitivity without collapse, and truth without domination.

MERCURY RETROGRADE SHADOW

We are already in the shadow before Mercury stations retrograde on November 9. The retrograde will begin in Sagittarius and return to Scorpio. Themes to expect include the revision of beliefs, edits to vows and philosophies, the dissolving of dogma, and a deeper excavation of motives beneath language.

Let questions breathe. Choose precision over performance. The most helpful practice is to slow speech by a single breath and let your body verify whether a statement is actually true.

MARS IN SAGITTARIUS OPPOSITE URANUS

November 4 brings Mars into Sagittarius where it will remain until mid-December. At ingress, it opposes Uranus retrograde near 0° of Gemini. This is wildfire energy. It can arrive as restlessness, sudden clarity, or an urge to break pattern.

The polarity between the higher mind and the quick mind is bright. Use this to cut through noise rather than to scorch your fields. Ask whether the impulse is fear or freedom. Aligned expression looks like decisive action consistent with long-held truth. Misaligned expression looks like reaction that serves only the adrenaline of the moment.

Practice for this transit: name what is essential. Name the single action that honors it. Take that step and no other. Let the nervous system settle before you take the next one.

FULL MOON IN TAURUS

November 5 at 13° Taurus, the Full Moon arrives as an anchor. With minimal aspects, this lunation is crystalline in tone. The Sun in Scorpio illuminates what is ready to be released within the Taurus sphere—body, money, values, safety, nourishment, land, and the tangible.

The Moon in fixed Earth prefers continuity; the season in fixed water insists on transformation. The teaching is to root in what is living and compost what is not.

Questions for the altar:
• What practices in my body create real safety rather than control?
• What is truly valuable now, and what belonged to a former chapter?
• What is my slow plan that I can keep in every season?

VENUS ENTERS SCORPIO

On November 6, Venus moves from the surface grace of Libra into the deep water of Scorpio, where love refines into devotion. Intimacy becomes a crucible. The heart seeks honesty that purifies.

Venus in Scorpio exposes patterns of control and the residues of fear that interfere with union. The medicine is transparent communication, boundaries that are alive, and the willingness to meet tenderness without disguise. Beauty goes subterranean; value becomes revelation.

URANUS RE-ENTERS TAURUS

On November 7, Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus and remains there until April 2026. This closes a long chapter that began in 2018. Expect a review of your relationship with resources, the body, the Earth, food, land, money, and the structures that provide continuity.

Collectively, this is a continued overhaul of value systems and supply lines. Personally, it is a request to embody freedom rather than chase it. Liberation anchored in the body lasts. Liberation that abandons the body repeats lessons.

Working with this review:
• Simplify your stack of obligations.
• Choose a small number of essentials and fund them with time, money, and attention.
• Let your budget reflect your values and your calendar reflect your vows.

SOMATIC INTEGRATION

Let the Full Moon be physical. Touch earth. Cook something simple. Move slowly. Create a single beauty ritual at home that signals safety to your body. Three breaths before you speak. Five breaths before you decide.

Honor the Mercury shadow by giving your words a place to land in your tissues before they land in the world.

KEY DATES

CLOSING

This week stretches awareness and asks for steadiness. Cultivate roots that can move like kelp—fixed to truth yet fluent in change. Let the Full Moon name what is real, and let Uranus remind you that freedom is a practice inside the body.
