LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES + WEEKLY ASTROLOGY FORECAST FOR AUGUST 23, 2026
On August 27th, 2026, the lunar eclipse at 4 degrees Pisces reaches its peak at 9:16 PM PT. This marks the final Pisces eclipse until 2034.
THE ECLIPSE PORTAL
We exist within an eclipse portal that spans from the total solar eclipse in Leo on August 12th to this lunar eclipse in Pisces on August 27th. During this window, we occupy a liminal space. The veil between what was and what's becoming is thin. Multiple timelines converge. Identities shift. The normal anchor points that ground us feel less stable.
The disorientation serves a purpose. The cosmos is asking us to consciously choose which timeline we're stepping into, and from what foundation.
PISCES + VIRGO
Since the lunar eclipse in Pisces in September 2024, the collective has been working with the Pisces-Virgo axis. This 18-month cycle (which technically extends through mid-2026) has been a curriculum around several interconnected themes:
The balance between control and surrender. The difference between perfectionism and devotion. The integration of the seen and the unseen. The relationship between the ego self and dissolution into something greater.
Virgo represents discernment, analysis, clarity, refinement. It separates and distinguishes. Pisces represents unity, dissolution, faith, the collective unconscious. It unifies and merges.
In their highest expressions, this axis teaches us to remain anchored in clarity and conscious choice while simultaneously trusting in forces larger than ourselves. To be disciplined and devoted without being rigid. To be surrendered without being passive.
This August 27th eclipse closes the chapter that opened in September 2024. It represents culmination and release. The work has been deep. Over these two years, the collective has moved through material around acceptance, control, perfectionism, and the development of genuine faith and trust.
The lunar eclipse is always a point of illumination and culmination. It highlights what has reached a point of fullness, what needs to be released, what can now be integrated into the next phase. At 4 degrees Pisces, this eclipse is also touching the territory of what was activated at the beginning of this cycle.
Think back to September 2024. What were you trying to control? What felt uncertain? What narratives were you gripping? Since then, what has dissolved? Where have you developed a deeper trust, even if it's only in small pockets of your life?
We move along a spiral, not in circles. The material may feel familiar, but your relationship to it has transformed.
LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES
On August 27th, the final Pisces lunar eclipse until 2034 reaches its peak. This marks the end of a cycle that began in September 2024. Two years of working with the Pisces-Virgo axis. Two years of learning surrender and control. Two years of developing trust, faith, and a deeper relationship with the mystery.
When we had the lunar eclipse in Pisces in September 2024, we were beginning a curriculum around acceptance and release. Around the difference between perfectionism and devotion. Around the seen and the unseen. Around the ego and the dissolution of self into something greater.
That's what Pisces teaches. Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac. It carries the accumulated material of the entire cycle. When we reach Pisces, we surrender the self that we've worked so hard to understand and develop. We dissolve into the waters of consciousness and the collective. And then we begin again.
For two years, we've been in this journey. And now we arrive at the endpoint. A completion. A culmination. A heightened full moon that is also an eclipse, reaching toward something we're still becoming.
This eclipse asks: what have you released since September 2024? What have you learned to surrender? Where have you developed a deeper trust, a deeper faith? Maybe some pockets of safety and surrender that weren't there before. Maybe more discipline. Maybe more intentional aligned discipline rather than gripping and control.
Think back to that time. What were you trying to control? What felt uncertain? What has dissolved since then? How are you interacting with the same issues differently now, even if they still come up? We move along a spiral, not in circles. The material may be similar, but your relationship to it has changed.
The work of this axis over the past two years has been finding balance between separation and unity. Virgo separates, analyzes, discerns. Pisces unifies, experiences, surrenders. In their shadows, Virgo becomes perfectionist and rigid. Pisces becomes dissociated and escapist.
The real work is not abandoning one for the other. It's harvesting the medicine from the highest expression of both. Virgo at its best is clear, discerning, refined, disciplined, devoted. Pisces at its best is surrendered, faithful, trusting, deeply connected, unafraid of dissolving the ego self while remaining contained within that process.
The integration looks like this: we anchor to clarity, devotion, discernment, and refinement. We choose well. We consume well. We eat well. We move our bodies. We create structure. And within that structure, we practice surrender. We balance our need for control with our need to let go. We stop trying to manage every outcome and instead trust that we're held by something greater.
This is not passive. Surrender is not collapse. True surrender is an active practice. It's saying: I've done the work I can do. I've built the foundation. I've made the conscious choices. Now I trust that this unfolds in perfect and right time.
T-SQUARE WITH URANUS
This eclipse also forms a T-square with Uranus in Gemini. Disruption. Change. Something unexpected. A conversation or insight that breaks through the fog. Uranus is at the crux of it, demanding that we break free from something that's been stagnant.
Since Uranus entered Gemini, it's been breaking our habitual mental pathways. The fixed narratives. The fixed stories. The fixed beliefs we've been holding onto. This eclipse is asking: where do you have rigid beliefs that need more openness? More curiosity? More mutability?
You don't need to make full sense of it. You don't need to analyze it right now. Just feel it. That's Pisces. The full surrender. Can you let go of an identity, a story, a belief you've been clinging to? Or can you let go a little bit more as we weave this eclipse work into the new timeline?
SOLAR ECLIPSE IN LEO
We had the solar eclipse in Leo on August 12th. That was about authenticity. Real authenticity, not the louder ego self, but the true self. The South Node in Leo was releasing the need to be seen, to be special, to perform. And what's emerging is a new version of you that fits into the new architecture of this new Earth.
Now Pisces is saying: is there something else you can release? Can you let go of your grip so this new self can emerge with even more ease? What have you been carrying that you're ready to dissolve?
There's a new timeline being woven. Even if it feels like a lot is being released and surrendered and dissolved, it's all in service to this greater, higher timeline that you're anchoring into. The access points for that are discipline, surrender, and authenticity.
ECLIPSE MEDICINE
Eclipse seasons are not a time to grip and control. You can manifest if you want, but be light with it. Be open to pivots and changes. So many people report sudden shifts during eclipse season. Things coming in, things flowing out, unexpected events, unexpected opportunities. That's Pisces medicine. That's the gift of surrender.
Be open. Be open to things changing. Be open to things flowing in a different direction than you expected. Trust that even in the mystery, even in the fog, even when you can't see the next step, you're being guided toward something. Something real. Something aligned. Something true.
This is a big week. We're completing a two year cycle. We're releasing what no longer serves. We're stepping into a new chapter with more consciousness, more authenticity, more trust. We're building new architecture brick by brick, stone by stone. And we're doing it with discipline and devotion and surrender.
